  • Google Calendar ICS

CURRENTLY BEING RESCHEDULED DUE TO TRAIL CONDITIONS! Please check back here for updates.

Join us for the fist ever Mineols Midnight Madness Mountian Bike Race!

This nightime event begins at 6pm with a 6 or 12 hour window to log as many laps around the trail as you can, as an individual or part of a team! The appromaimely 10 mile trail winds through the Mineola Nature Preserve.

A portion of the prceeds for this event will be donated to the Mineola Nature Preserve.

Check back for more details regarding packet pickup as we get closer to race day!

Planned trail map:
Start/finish area will be near the main entrance of the Mineola Nature Preserve following the blue dotted circuit on this map in a counter clockwise direction. It'll loop from the pavilion through the archery area and toward the beehive, cross the rail trail onto Apache Cutoff up to the Hub. There will be a port-a-potty and hydration at the Hub. From there the trail will head down the Old Tyler Highway to the Double Bridges intersection. A connector trail leads to Turkey Island Trail / Palmer Trail, then back onto the lower end of the rail trail (Canoe Launch Trail), which is followed north to the Dr. John Thomas Bridge. In case of high water, either the River Bottom Trail or the Old Tyler Highway will be used to shorten the loop connecting to the Dr. John Thomas Bridge.
There will be a port-a-potty and hydration station at the bridge.
Next, continue on the Mustang Trail to Alligator Loop (note the alternate divergence depending on water levels) and up to the Greer Hill singletrack. There will be a port-a-potty and hydration station on Greer Hill. Descend from Greer Hill on the Zeppa Well Trail to London Bridge, then on either Chestnut or Duncan/Buckskin Trails to Navajo, toward Pullen Pond and up the hill to the pavilion.
Approximate loop distance: 8-9 miles. Actual distance and route will be mapped and finalized once the area is dry enough to ride.

Freedom Fighter 5K - 2020

We are BACK for a THIRD year!

We want to give as many dollars as we can from this event to Boot Campaign, so in order to do so........we are not requesting a shirt size.

Here's why!

Rather than including a participant shirt with registration we ask you to do one of the following: purchase one in the online store, pick one up at registration or snag one at the start of the run. To ensure you get the Boot Campaign shirt of your liking, we encourage you to place your order ahead of time at Shop.BootCampaign.org as shirts may be limited on race day. Be sure to select Freedom Fighter 5K at checkout so we know you ordered!

Are we offering finisher medals? Indeed. FREE kids dash? Absolutely! Same post race fun? You betcha!

Please stay tuned for more details on packet pickup location and other race information as it unfolds!

Packet Pickup will be held 4-7pm, Friday, July 3rd, 2020.
Race day begins at Bergfeld park, kicking off with the kids dash at 7:30am, directly followed by the 5K start.

We are always looking for those in the community who would like to help with their time and resources! For swag, vendor, and sponsorship enquiries, please contact Meredith at itri365meredith@gmail.com.

Freedom Fighter 5K

Runners.....you voiced your opinions on 5K runs here in East Texas......and we listened.

Based on your feeback, we've made some changes for the 2019 Freedom Fighter 5K. We want to give as many dollars as we can from this event into Boot Campaign, so in order to do so, we are trying out a little something new this time around!

You may notice that we have dropped the registration price down from last year, and are not requesting a shirt size.

Will we still be offering finisher medals and a free kids dash? Absloutely. All the post race fun at Bergfeld Park? You betcha. We want to encourage our community to give to Boot Campaign in celebration of the freedoms we enjoy!

2019 Diva Du - Sprint, Olympic, Relay Duathlon & 5k

The Diva Du 2019 will be held April 27, 2019 at Kiepersol's Winery and Distillery. (Where we were for our first year!)

East Texas' first and only exclusively women's event. This year we are offering an Olympic distance in addition to our Sprint. We're also opening it up for relay teams and a 5k for those who want to join the fun without a bike involved!

I got in trouble last year for calling it "beginner friendly" when I should have said it was a beginner's distance. My bad. However, all those ladies rocked it out and finished it, hills and all!

Our Sprint duathlon will consist of a 1.5 mile run, 10 mile bike, and 1.5 mile run. Our Olmpic distance, 3ish mile run, 25ish mile bike, and 3ish mile run.

We are always excited to have Abuelo's hosting our post-race food as well as our local and amazing wine from Kiepersol's vineyard. We will continue our tradition of iTRI365 signature event drinks - Sangria and Vitmosas! We will also continue to keep our vendors local and women oriented. We want to support moms and women business owners who love and give back to this community in so many awesome ways.
