Why do I train?

For me, training has become more than a hobby. If I'm not working, I'm training.  There is something addictive about getting progressively better at something.  I started off with triathlon, and recently moved to mostly cycling.  For the past 2 years, I have been able to make consistent improvements, and I don't plan on slowing down.

Why do I train?

I train because I want others, especially women, to know they can do anything they set their minds to.
—Gina Rudd-Rymal

Why do I train?

Why I train? To get in better shape, having a coach checking progress helps hold me accountable to do the workouts the best I can. To know the drive of training for a competition

Why do I train?

Favorite race. IMTX 70.3 Galveston 2016. Why? First 70.3, first long course Tri, first big race
coached by Lora and all of my family & friends were at the finish line. Also did better than projected.

Why do I train?

How Training Has affected me:   I train to live,  I live to race. I race to be who I am.  It's called Character building in all aspects of spirituality,  emotionality and physicality. Through these aspects I have become a better person appreciating all the simple things life gives us! Each and every training session has a lesson to be learned in all 3 aspects. Oh yea,  I love to be around others! Life can be a big fun party!!

Why do I train?

ITRI365 has led me down a path helping to overcome my negative mindset of abilities and overall lack of confidence to step out of my comfort zone! I have learned if I give it my all I don't have to compete or compare myself to others  to have had a great performance or to have been successful! My negative attitude has always had a hold on me. Training with a great coach has aided in my confidence and growth, reaching goals I never thought attainable!

This has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done for myself! I am a better, stronger and happier individual! You are never to old for change....

Why do I train?

I train because I can.  I am not particularly good at any of the disciplines.  I prefer hardcore Hiit and weight lifting, but this adds another dimension to keep me challenged.  While I am able to push my body, I will continue training and racing as long as it remains enjoyable and my body can handle it.
